The PlowGuys

About The PlowGuys

Snow born over Lake Erie doesn't quit at the shoreline; it rides south and finds the high ground of Summit County, where Fairlawn sits well above the lake and collects more than its share. The PlowGuys work those nights — plowing, clearing drives and lots, opening walkways — while the streetlights hold their cones of falling white and the rest of the town sleeps. There's a particular satisfaction in the last pass of a lot at four in the morning: black pavement, banked edges, the whole thing squared away before the first headlights arrive. Come daylight it looks like nothing ever happened, which is precisely the point. Fairlawn and its neighboring Summit County towns are covered.
