About Green Grass Hopper Lawn Care, llc

Deep August in Fairfield hums, with cicadas up in the sycamores, heat sitting flat on the grass and three weeks since the last real rain. Green Grass Hopper Lawn Care, llc reads that stretch and cuts high, leaving the blades long enough to shade their own roots until the weather relents. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups run right through the season, but the dry weeks are where judgment actually shows. When the rain finally comes back the lawns green up fast, and the ones that were never scalped come back fastest of all. It is a small thing to notice in July, and it changes the whole of September.
