Gro Green Lawns

About Gro Green Lawns

Green-up runs fast in this part of Licking County: one warm week and the flat farm ground goes from brown to almost fluorescent. Gro Green Lawns meets it with the season's first mowing, trimming and cleanup around Etna, then holds that rhythm all the way to the final cut in November. When winter takes the wheel, so do the plows — drives and lots pushed open, walks cleared, salt down where a thaw refroze overnight. Two very different kinds of early morning, one township. The measure never changes: get there, do it right, leave the place open and even.
