The Tree Service

About The Tree Service

Elyria was built where the Black River splits in two, and the town has been living with ravines ever since — shale walls, falls loud after a rain, beech and hemlock hanging on where nobody could ever mow. Yards that back up to those slopes grow trees that lean, and a leaning tree eventually needs an opinion. The Tree Service handles removals on awkward ground, trims and prunes for clearance and shape, and gets the mess off a property after wind or ice has laid a limb across a fence. Spring is loudest here, water running everywhere, the whole gorge greening at once above the falls. It is a fine place to make a living putting a canopy back into balance.
