About Ruebush Lawn & Landscaping

On the gravel township roads outside Eaton, snow does not fall so much as travel, blowing off the stubble fields and stacking into a hard white shelf across the end of every driveway. Ruebush Lawn & Landscaping goes after those shelves with a plow and a scoop, then salts the walks where the meltwater will refreeze by afternoon. In September, when the humidity finally breaks and mowing becomes a pleasure again, the work is grass cut even, trimming tightened up, and leaves pulled off the lawn before they mat. Country properties out here have room to get away from you, and keeping one sharp takes somebody who likes the doing of it. That is the trade, plainly stated, in a county built on doing the outdoor work yourself.
