About Miami Valley Lawnscapes LLC

In February the grain elevator north of Eaton stands against a sky the color of galvanized steel, and snow moves sideways down US 127 like it has somewhere to be. Miami Valley Lawnscapes LLC runs its winter route through that, blade down, opening driveways and lots and laying salt where ice wants to gather at the bottom of a slope. Months later the same route is a mowing route, with trimming around mailboxes and edges recut where the turf has crept over the concrete. There is real pleasure in the contrast: headlights on white in the cold months, green rows in long summer light. Whatever the calendar says, the goal never changes, which is a property that looks handled.
