About Bruce's Lawn Care Inc.

Winter mornings in Eaton begin in the dark, with the wind coming flat and unhindered across the Preble County fields and a skim of ice riding Seven Mile Creek. Bruce's Lawn Care Inc. works in that dark, pushing driveways open and salting walks so the first cup of coffee still happens on time. By April the same routes turn green and the job becomes mowing, trimming, and the crisp border along a sidewalk that makes an ordinary front yard look deliberate. There is a plain kind of pride in a drive nobody has to think about, and in grass cut in long even passes not far from the old double-barrel covered bridge. Eaton notices when a place is looked after, and that noticing is the whole point of the work.
