About The Snow Squad

Snow reaches Dover Township from the southwest, sliding up across the open York County plain, and it usually arrives after dark. That is when The Snow Squad goes to work. Plows on the driveways, shovels on the steps and walks, salt where shade keeps ice alive past noon — then back around again for a second pass while the storm is still coming down. Blade light on falling flakes, banks pushed well clear of the mailbox and the sight line, the drive open from garage door to street. Morning arrives, and the day starts on schedule anyway.
