About Leroy's Lawn and Landscape, LLC

Delphos was laid out along the Miami and Erie Canal, and the old channel still runs through town like a green seam holding the two halves together. Leroy's Lawn and Landscape, LLC keeps the grass along those streets in order from the first warm week of April, when the maples on the side blocks go from bare to bud almost overnight. Mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing away what winter left behind — done on a rhythm, so a yard never has to be rescued. This is old canal country, flat and dark-soiled and generous to anything green, which is a blessing and a standing appointment both. Come evening the streets between here and Fort Jennings smell like cut grass, and that is a good smell for a town to have.
