About Friebel's, LLC

A clipper drops down out of the northwest with nothing between it and Delaware but open field, and by three in the morning the county roads have gone from wet to white. Friebel's, LLC is out in it, plowing driveways and parking areas, breaking the drift that builds along a fence line, spreading salt on the shaded corners where a thaw would only refreeze. Shovels finish the steps, the front walk and the stretch out to the mailbox that no truck has any business near. The reward is small and complete: headlights swinging into a drive at six and finding it already open. Central Ohio winter never announces itself politely, so the answer is to be up ahead of it.
