Down to Earth Lawn Care

About Down to Earth Lawn Care

Underneath Delaware the ground is limestone, and the old quarry walls at Blue Limestone Park still show what these lawns are standing on: a thin skin of clay over solid rock. Down to Earth Lawn Care works with that ground instead of against it, mowing at a height the turf can carry, feeding and treating so roots reach deeper than the heat can follow, and overseeding the tired shoulders where summer took a toll. Mornings start with dew still on the blade and end with the smell of cut grass moving down the street. Edges get their line, beds get their border, and the clippings come off the walk before the truck pulls away. It is a quiet sort of pride, measured in green that lasts well into September.
