Billy's Lawn Care Services

About Billy's Lawn Care Services

The Red Line trolley runs down the spine of Castle Shannon, and the yards it passes tilt every direction the South Hills decided on long ago. Billy's Lawn Care Services mows, trims and edges those slopes — the narrow strips along Library Road, the deep back lots that drop away toward the hollow. There is a real satisfaction in a hillside lawn cut clean, the stripes following the grade instead of fighting it. Spring cleanups pull the winter grit off the beds; fall cleanups take the maples down to bare, tidy ground before the light goes short. It is lawn care shaped by a borough where almost nothing is flat, and the work is better for it.
