Old Oak Services

About Old Oak Services

Delaware County still has its old oaks — the wide, low-branched kind that grew up in open pasture and now stand in somebody's back yard, dropping acorns on the mower deck every fall. Old Oak Services works under trees like that: mowing, trimming and edging through the season, then the leaf-heavy cleanups, then the shift to plowing drives, clearing walks and putting down ice melt once the ground turns. Big trees make a yard beautiful and make the work slower, and both of those things are fine. What the crew is after is a property that looks tended when the truck pulls away — lines held, surfaces clear, nothing left to do. In town and out on the county roads, the whole turning year.
