The Bockelman Company

About The Bockelman Company

East of town the Maumee runs beside the old canal towpath, and the trail out toward Independence Dam changes character four times a year without ever hurrying. The Bockelman Company keeps properties in Defiance moving at that same steady pace — mowing and trimming through the green weeks, edging, spring and fall cleanups, leaves gathered before they mat down over the turf. When the river ices at its edges, the work becomes plow routes, cleared walks and salt on the entries that see the most traffic. A finished lawn in July and a bare drive in February are the same promise made in different weather. Both are worth doing well enough that someone notices.
