About Turf Tamers LLC

August in Deercreek township is a running negotiation with the sky: thunderheads stack white above the corn by two in the afternoon, and the whole township stands out in the drive to see which way they will slide. Turf Tamers LLC works the gaps between them — mowing ahead of the rain, coming back after it when the grass jumps four inches in a weekend. Flat land like this grows turf with a will, and keeping it in hand means trimming the fencelines and edges as carefully as the open middle. The reward is that late-summer look of a lawn that never got away from anybody: even, dense, cut clean to the last corner. When the heat finally breaks, the same yards get walked through for the season's closing cleanup.
