About Petrey and Sons LLC.

West of Brookville the fields run toward the Indiana line without much to interrupt them, and February wind takes whatever snow has already fallen and moves it all over again. A lane can be clear at nine and closed at ten out there. Petrey and Sons LLC. plows that country — driveways, farm lanes and the long approaches where drifts build straight across the wind — then shovels the walks and puts salt on the packed spots. Open ground is stubborn work, and finishing it well is its own reward. A cleared lane against a white field is a good thing to look back at.
