Walt's Lawn Care

About Walt's Lawn Care

Danbury Township runs out onto the peninsula with Lake Erie on both sides, and the lake decides everything — a late spring, a long cool green, and wind carrying fine grit off the limestone. Walt's Lawn Care mows the lakeside lots and cottage yards straight through the season, trimming along seawalls, deck posts and the stone edges this peninsula is built on. Summer weeks fill fast between Marblehead and Lakeside, so the route runs to a schedule and the grass stays even instead of going wild between visits. Autumn out here is the good stretch — the crowds thin, the light lies long over the water, and the leaf cleanups begin. Then the yards are put to bed with a last cut, closed up neat before the weather comes in off the lake.
