Dream Cuts

About Dream Cuts

Late on a July evening, with the light going amber over Water Works Park and the pool noise finally dying down, the last pass of the mower is the best one. Dream Cuts works that hour and every other — mowing, trimming, edging and clearing the clippings all summer, then turning to plowing, shoveling and ice control once Cuyahoga Falls goes white. The name is a promise about lines: even, unhurried, the kind that make a plain front yard look like somebody meant it. Winter asks for the same eye — an open drive, a walkway you can carry groceries across. Cuyahoga Falls, Stow, Munroe Falls, Silver Lake, Tallmadge and Akron are all on the route.
