About Ohio Crane Service

Out in Crane Township the land is table-flat and the wind gets a running start, so snow here does not fall so much as travel — sideways across the section roads, stacking into a hard drift behind every windbreak and barn. Ohio Crane Service plows into that: farm lanes opened end to end, drives cut wide enough to take a second storm, lots pushed back before the piles start eating the parking. Walks get shoveled, and ice control goes where the wind buffs a doorway slick. On a January morning in Paulding County the sky turns pale and enormous, and a cleared lane running straight out to the road is what makes the day possible. The truck stays out until every one of them is open.
