About Those Guys Lawn and Landscape

Covington is Wyoming County farm country — open ground, a lot of sky, and wind that crosses the fields from the turbines on the ridge without hitting a thing on the way. Those Guys Lawn and Landscape work lawns inside that openness, where a yard is a green square held against considerable weather. Mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups, kept to the calendar the grass keeps rather than the one on the wall. Out here a squared-away dooryard reads from a quarter mile off, and that's exactly the point. When the last cut of October is done and the leaves are hauled, the place looks ready for whatever winter has in mind.
