Bear Feet Lawn Patrol

About Bear Feet Lawn Patrol

Up on the Devou Park side of town the hills tilt hard toward the river, and on a June morning the dew sits so heavy the grass silvers before the sun clears the ridge. Bear Feet Lawn Patrol mows those slopes and the flatter yards below them, cutting across the grade and back over it so nothing scalps and nothing gets missed. The name is a promise about the result: turf soft and even enough to cross without shoes, with the lawn stopped in a straight line where it meets the drive. Trimming takes the fence corners, the wall bases and the shady strips along the tree line that a mower deck will never reach. From the overlook the skyline stands across the water; down in the yards, everything looks just as squared away.
