About Joshua Tree LLC

From the bluff above Conneaut Harbor you can watch a winter arrive — a gray wall out past the breakwater light, and twenty minutes later no water at all. Joshua Tree LLC plows and shovels ahead of and behind those bands, opening driveways and walks and salting the places where meltwater runs back across concrete and sets up hard by evening. When the lake finally warms and the town turns green, the same trucks return for mowing, trimming and edging on a weekly turn. Snow on this shore is measured in feet across a season, so the winter work is less about one storm than about being there for all of them. And in July, what gets left behind is a lawn above the harbor with lines straight as a dock line.
