About Ward Landscape Services LLC

The hour before daylight on the northeast side is dark blue and completely quiet, snow still coming down soft over the cul-de-sacs near Minerva Park and the woods edge at Blendon. Ward Landscape Services LLC is out in it — plowing driveways and parking areas, opening walks and porch steps, putting salt where the overnight melt ran across the concrete and set. Winter here is not one storm but a long series of small demands, and answering each one on time is the whole trade. Blade down, one length and back the other way, then on to the next address. The neighborhood wakes to a street it can actually use.
