About Scholl's Landscaping, LLC

March along the bluff above the Scioto is all thaw and mud — the river running high and brown below, the last gray drifts collapsing in the shade of the north-facing yards. Scholl's Landscaping, LLC has just finished a winter of plowing and salting Upper Arlington driveways and walks when that thaw arrives, and within a few weeks the mowers are being tuned for the first cut. The handoff between those two jobs is the best stretch of the year: winter's work visibly over, spring's work not yet urgent. Then the grass takes off, and it is weekly mowing, tight trimming and a clean-cut edge from April clear through to the hard frosts. The river keeps its own schedule; the crew keeps theirs alongside it.
