About Palmers Lawn and Landscaping

The township took its name from the wild violets that came up in its fencerows, and they still do — low and purple in April, right when the ground softens and everybody looks at their yard again for the first time since fall. That is our favorite week to start. We open the season with a cleanup, then hold the year with weekly mowing, edges cut clean at the walk and the drive, trimming where the mower cannot go, and mulch laid so the beds smell like spring for a month. Planting and shrub shaping give the front of the house some structure to grow into. From that first warm Saturday to the last load of leaves, the aim is a yard that looks cared for every time you pull in.
