Jake's lawn maintenance

About Jake's lawn maintenance

There is a certain Columbus small business that amounts to a truck, a list, and somebody who does what he said he would do — Jake's lawn maintenance is that shape of outfit. Warm months it is mowing and trimming and edging through the alley-lined blocks of the south side, where half the yards are reached the back way and the trimmer earns its keep along the garages. Leaf season it is raking and hauling, staying ahead of the rain that mats everything down. Winter it is the plow, the shovel, and a bag of salt on the tailgate, drives opened before first light. The same neighborhoods, all the way around the calendar.
