About Erney Brothers Landscaping

Clintonville runs long and narrow between High Street and the Olentangy, and Erney Brothers Landscaping knows it block by block. In June the mowers go out early, before the river-valley heat settles in, and the lines left across those deep back yards run as straight as the old streetcar route. Autumn is leaves — maple, sycamore, endless silver-maple confetti — carried off before it mats down over the turf. Then January flips the work upside down: plow, shovel, salt, the same driveways cleared in the dark that were mowed in the light. Two halves of a year, one map, and a real pull toward both.
