Cardinal Lawns

About Cardinal Lawns

North of the city, Hoover Reservoir keeps a cool edge on Westerville mornings well into May, and the grass along those streets comes in thick and slow to quit. Cardinal Lawns keeps it in hand — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the yard through the growing months and out the far side of them. A cardinal will sit on the fence line and complain the entire time the mower is running; it is part of the soundtrack up there. The satisfaction lands on the last pass, when the machine goes quiet and the lawn holds one even color from the drive to the back fence. Then on to the next one, and back again next week.
