About Blade & Bloom Landscaping

In Clintonville the lots run long and narrow to the alley, shaded by street trees older than the houses, and every one of them mows a little differently. Blade & Bloom Landscaping learns those yards — cutting high under the maples where the turf is thin, edging the sidewalk squares clean, trimming around the garage pad and the raised beds without scalping the corners. Late June, after a night of rain off the Olentangy, everything from the Park of Roses down to Weber Road puts on an inch by Tuesday, and the route runs accordingly. In October the leaves come down over one long week and the work turns to hauling them off before they mat the grass. It is ordinary care, repeated, which is the only kind that shows.
