About 2 Neighbors & a Lawnmower Landscaping

Late in the day the light on the west side of Columbus turns gold and slides downhill toward the Chattahoochee, and that is when a mown yard looks its best. 2 Neighbors & a Lawnmower Landscaping keeps to the old streets there, the ones where porches face each other close enough to talk across. They mow, they trim the fence corners a mower cannot reach, they edge the walk and blow the clippings back off the pavement before they leave. It is neighbor work in the literal sense — you cut a yard the way you would want yours cut, then look at it once more from the sidewalk before loading up. A block that gets tended block-by-block starts to hold together, and you can see it from the corner.
