About Palmer's Lawn Care Inc.

October in Columbia Station turns the field edges rust and copper, and the oaks hold their leaves long after the maples have let go. Palmer's Lawn Care Inc. works the season's hinge — the last mowings of the year, the leaf cleanups hauled off before rain glues them flat, and then, some grey morning not long after, the first plow run of winter. Mowing and trimming hand off to clearing drives and salting walks without much ceremony in between. The work changes shape; the reason for it does not. A yard put to bed properly in November is a yard that comes back green.
