Cutting Time

About Cutting Time

Saturday morning in Clyde sounds like mowers, one street answering another, along the same porch-lined blocks Sherwood Anderson walked as a boy. Cutting Time works those blocks and the wider lots out past them, with weekly mowing, trimming around porch posts and mailboxes, and edges run clean down the sidewalk seams. There is a version of a yard where the grass is merely short and a version where the whole thing looks intentional, and the difference lives in the borders. Autumn brings the leaves down, and the leaves get cleared. Village lawn care, kept on time, in a town that keeps its own.
