Mowing and Plowing

About Mowing and Plowing

Two verbs, and between them the entire Euclid year. From the first cut in April to the last squall of March, Mowing and Plowing covers the same ground twice over — weekly mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, leaf cleanup when the streets go gold, then plowed driveways, shoveled walks and salted steps once the lake starts throwing snow inland. The name promises exactly what shows up, which in this line of work is most of the battle. And there is real pleasure in both halves: the straight line drawn across a summer lawn, and the open drive waiting at daybreak.
