About Mike N. Cirino & Son, Inc.

Euclid Avenue at five on a February morning is empty in a way it never is otherwise, the streetlights strung out east through Midtown with snow drifting across four lanes. Mike N. Cirino & Son, Inc. is at work in that window, plowing lots and drives, clearing the sidewalks and entries, and salting before the first employees turn in off Chester. Downtown buildings run to schedules that do not bend for weather, so the clearing happens ahead of them, not alongside. By the time the avenue fills again the pavement is dark, the walks are open, and the storm is simply something that happened overnight. Cleveland and the communities close around it make up the winter's territory.
