Snow Plow Cleveland

About Snow Plow Cleveland

Watch a squall come across the water toward downtown and you can see it land: the Terminal Tower goes soft, then gray, then gone, and the Hope Memorial Bridge disappears one guardian at a time. Snow Plow Cleveland works the hours after that, plowing drives and lots and clearing pavement so the city can do what it does at seven in the morning regardless of what fell at two. A push here gets measured in stacked storms as much as in inches, because the freeze and thaw keep rebuilding whatever the last one left behind. The job is unromantic and completely necessary. Bare blacktop under a streetlight, cars moving, nobody giving the weather a second thought — that is a finished night.
