About Deeter Nurseries Inc

Out toward Phillipsburg the fields are cut down to stubble by December, and when the wind gets up it carries snow sideways across the road and rebuilds a drift faster than a person can shovel it. Deeter Nurseries Inc takes on snow removal in that open country around Clayton — plowing driveways and lots, opening walks, and putting down salt where meltwater refreezes after dark. Freezing rain is the harder guest here, glazing everything into one bright sheet before dawn, and it rewards showing up early and coming back. There is something worth having in a lane cleared wide enough that the truck and the mailbox and the trash cans all get along. Winter in the Miami Valley is short on drama and long on repetition, and the answer to it is simply being there each time.
