About Anderson's Property Services

West of Clayton the ground lies open and level, old farm country running out toward the county line, and on a June evening the light stays low across it for a long, generous while. Anderson's Property Services keeps lawns in that flat country — mowing, trimming, edging along walks and drives, and clearing away the clippings and yard debris so a place is left quiet. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the day, when the lines run true with the road and the turf stands even from the mailbox to the back fence. Lawns here are honest bluegrass and fescue, and they answer to steady attention more than to anything clever. It is work that is simple to name and impossible to fake: cut level, edge straight, leave nothing behind but the smell of it.
