About Wolfe & West Inc

Winter in the Scioto valley shows up on a west wind, and by the time it reaches Circleville it has crossed a long stretch of open Ohio ground with nothing to slow it down. Wolfe & West Inc works that season alone: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks and steps by hand, spreading salt where the melt refreezes along the curb line. The hours are the ones nobody else keeps — midnight, two, four, and back again when the wind keeps filling in what was already opened. Pavement gets scraped down to black, walks get cut to their full width, and Pickaway County gets to go about its day. That is the whole ambition.
