About Tinkerturf Lawn & Landscape

Northside keeps its own hours — porch music on Hamilton Avenue, a farmers market crowd drifting through Hoffner Park, small yards packed tight behind old frame houses. Tinkerturf Lawn & Landscape suits that scale, working the narrow side lots and pocket-sized front lawns that a big outfit would rather skip. Mowing, trimming and edging in a space like that is fussy, close work, and getting it right means threading between a fence, a rain barrel and somebody's tomato cages without leaving a mark. The reward is a tiny lawn that looks deliberate, its border sharp against the brick walk, the clippings gone. In fall the leaves come down all at once from those enormous street trees, and the cleanup turns a block back into itself.
