Terra Turf and Landscape

About Terra Turf and Landscape

Winter storms tend to come up the Ohio Valley from the southwest, arriving as rain that hardens somewhere over the Mill Creek bottoms in the small hours. That is the hour Terra Turf and Landscape keeps, headlights sweeping the walls of the valley below Spring Grove while the rest of the city is still asleep. Plowing, shoveling and salting are simple to name and hard to do well, and the difference shows in a lot that drains instead of glazing over. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass, when the blacktop goes dark and wet and the piles sit exactly where they belong. By the time the first commuter turns in, the night's work has already made itself invisible — which is the whole point.
