About Our Knowledge Enterprises

St. Bernard is a village with a city drawn all the way around it: brick streets stacked on the hillside above the Mill Creek valley, small square yards behind them, and stone steps climbing between. Our Knowledge Enterprises takes those lots on — mowing, trimming, edging along sidewalks and retaining walls, clippings cleared off the steps and the drive before leaving. On slopes like these the cut has to be walked rather than driven, and the line where turf meets old concrete is the whole difference between kept and forgotten. Summer rises off the valley thick and still, so the work starts early and the grass is left the length it can hold. A small city yard, mown and edged and swept, carries the same pride as an acre.
