Legner’s Lawncare

About Legner’s Lawncare

Evening comes late to Hyde Park in June, the light sliding sideways under the honey locusts around the Square. Legner's Lawncare cuts the lawns on the streets that fan out from it, where front yards are shallow and every line shows. Mowing, trimming, edging, the cleanups that bracket spring and fall — the list is short, and it gets done the same way each visit. A lawn on those blocks is practically part of the sidewalk, so the finish is a clean boundary between the two. Cincinnati holds onto its old neighborhoods; keeping the grass right is one way of holding on with it.
