About Kissel Landscaping

January in Montgomery arrives as banked curbs and blue-white light on the old village storefronts, everything muffled until the plows have been through. Kissel Landscaping runs those nights and early mornings, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, spreading salt where north-facing pavement never sees the sun. Up here the ground is level and the wind has room, so what falls gets moved twice — once by the sky and once by the truck. The pleasure is in the exactness: pavement bare to its edge, banks squared off, the walk gritted before anyone steps out. By the time the shops turn their lights on, the day is already possible.
