About Hometown Turf

An old oak on a Springfield Township corner throws its shade across four lawns at once, and no two of them grow the same. Hometown Turf keeps that north-side ground — mowing, trimming and seasonal lawn care through Finneytown, Wyoming and the streets around them, where the land lies flatter and the yards run wide. Late June, the mowers are out before the heat sits down on the day; by evening the stripes have settled and the whole block looks combed. Autumn is the leaves, endless and satisfying, hauled off a lawn that gets one more clean pass before the cold. A yard kept steadily is a small weekly kind of good news.
