Corey's Lawn Maintenance

About Corey's Lawn Maintenance

June comes into Pleasant Ridge warm and hazy off the river, and by nine the mowers are singing their way up one side of the block. Corey's Lawn Maintenance keeps those yards on the calendar — the weekly cut, the trimmed fence line, the ribbon of grass between sidewalk and curb that nobody notices until it is done right. When the clay bakes hard in August there is aeration and seed to loosen it, feeding and weed control to bring the fescue back green. Then the maples let go all at once and the whole thing becomes leaf work, run yard by yard until the ground shows again. A tidy lawn on a Cincinnati side street is a small kindness paid to everyone who walks past it.
