About Black Dawg of Greater Cincinnati

Snow work in Cincinnati happens while the city sleeps, headlights swinging across an empty lot, the blade throwing a pale wave off into the dark. Black Dawg of Greater Cincinnati runs those hours, plowing, shoveling, salting and de-icing so drives, lots and walks stand open by the time the first alarms go off across the north side. The Ohio Valley specializes in the mean stuff, wet heavy snow, sleet, a freezing drizzle that welds itself to concrete and does not let go. Clearing it takes stubbornness more than anything, plus a willingness to go back out at two in the morning when the second band arrives. By sunrise the pavement is dark and wet and nothing about the night shows at all.
