About Powers Landscaping Company

Lake-effect doesn't fall so much as arrive in waves — an inch an hour, a lull, then another band off the water fifteen miles north. Powers Landscaping Company works straight through those nights, plowing drives and lots more than once, because once is never the number. Piles get pushed back where they belong, entrances stay wide, and salt goes down on the pavement that glazes before daylight. The measure of it is simple: cars get out, and nobody has to think about how. When the last band finally clears, the blacktop is dark again and the morning goes on as usual.
