About No

September in the headwaters country is goldenrod and cool mornings, and lawns get one more strong month of growing before they quit. This Chardon lawn care outfit works that stretch hard — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the clippings so nothing tracks indoors. Earlier in the year it is the spring cleanup that hauls off what winter left; later it is leaves, gathered before they pack down and smother the grass. A yard kept all season shows it in late October, when everything around it is going brown and it is not. That is the whole ambition, and it is enough.
