About L. Caticchio & Son, Inc.

A February thaw on the Munson ridgelines is a trick — water all afternoon, glass by nine at night. L. Caticchio & Son plans for the refreeze, plowing the storm and then coming back with salt for the places that always ice: the pitch of a drive, the shady side of a walk, the step down to the mailbox. When spring finally holds, the same properties get cleaned up and mowed, trimmed and edged straight through to leaf season. Summer evenings smell like cut grass instead of road salt. Both halves of the year end the same way, with a place that is easy to walk up to.
