About Greentop Tree Services

Late April on the Chardon plateau is mud and birdsong, the snow gone from the lawns but still lying grey along the north side of the woodlots. Greentop Tree Services uses that window before the leaves close in — removals while the ground is workable, trimming that clears a gutter and a roof edge, pruning that sets a young tree's shape for the next thirty summers. Out toward the lakes and the woods east of town the lots run big and the trees run bigger, and putting a trunk down between a shed and a fence takes rigging and unhurried time. Storm calls arrive year-round in this country, and the answer is always the same: limbs off the roof, the lot walked twice, nothing left to trip over. High ground grows good hardwood, and the work is keeping it good and keeping it safe.
